Thermally modified pine tile. Product suitable for indoor and outdoor use Thermally modified wood is a durable and ecological material, providing a high-quality alternative that is naturally durable. It is produced through a technologically advanced process that is equivalent to Thermo D, where the natural wood is subjected to high temperatures that modify the basic structure of its cellular wall, thus reducing the hygroscopicity of the wood and consequently obtaining greater natural durability and dimensional stability. It is a product free of resins and chemicals, and may contain knots or other peculiarities of the species. In areas susceptible to termites, adequate protection is recommended. Wooden slats screwed to a polypropylene base. The heat treatment gives the wood a warm and dark shade.
